Established for 13 years with two other businesses, in Crewkerne and Gillingham, all the branches of Paws, Claws and Jaws are voluntary members of the Pet Care Trust, and adhere to their Pet Care Charter.
Staff training is continuous, as product knowledge and customer service is a very important part of our business - a City and Guilds pass in Pet Shop Management being the prime qualification.
Our Gillingham branch has a spacious retail area covering two floors.
A selection of small animals from Syrian hamsters to rabbits and birds are normally available with a variety of hutches, runs, and cages on display.
A vast range of pet foods, medications and health products are stocked including premium foods such as Hills Science Diet, Nutrience and James Wellbeloved.
Grooming aids and many different styles of dog coats from barbour jackets to jogging suits can be found and a made to measure service is available for the fuller figure canine customer. Of course, bean bags, soft and plastic beds are readily available.
